What is SMA

SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) is the number one genetic killer of children under the age of two. SMA affects the motor neurons of the spinal cord and brain stem. These critically important cells are responsible for supplying messages to cells. Without proper input from motor neurons, muscle cells can not function properly and will, therefore, become smaller (atrophy) and produce symptoms of muscle weakness.

SMA Trail.

The Angel Arm Order page has been temporarily shut down. We are working on current orders and cannot accept more orders until we catch up. We cannot honestly say how long the current orders will take, or how long the order page will be down. But it wouldn't be fair to make people wait.

I created a waiting list form. Please fill it out and I will email updated as we get closer to reopening the order page. Waitlist family orders will be added to the order list first. Thank you for your understanding.

Jacey's Journey's "Super Kids"

'Welcome to Jacey's Journey

We are inviting you to journey through the life of one very special little girl and her friends with SMA. This site is intended to help newly diagnosed families, long time SMA kids and adults and their friends and families, find information about SMA. Diet, exercise, treatment, hope, faith and love are major components necessary to thrive with this disease.

Diet for SMA kids appears to be one of the differentiating factors with survival. At Jacey's Journey.com, we strive to assist families with equipment necessary to properly prepare healthy food.

We have been busy at work assisting children exercise and staying mobile with our "Angel Arms"... A gravity reducing apparatus that opens the door to movement again. Please visit the Jacey's Journey Arms for angels section for more information.

If you or someone you know could benefit from the services of Jacey's Journey.com, please visit the "Wish-List" section on this site and fill out the form. We have been fulfilling requests. All fulfilled requests are made possible from donations to the organization and merchandise sold.
